2010 IFS Conference; The Settlement Summit: Inclusion, Innovation, Impact

The conference is scheduled for October 4th to 9th, 2010, with a goal to bring together between 400 and 600 people, focusing our activities physically within New York City’s Greenwich Village and the Lower East Side to celebrate the birthplace of the settlement movement in the United States nearly 125 years ago.  Learn more »

IFS members who are traveling to another city or country can now sign up to become a Very Important Neighbor. The V.I.N. Project has been designed for traveling professional and voluntary staff in an effort to promote exchanges and enhance networking opportunities. Learn more »

IFS Europe members held a successful gathering to network and learn about community work in St. Petersburg

On October 21st over 50 IFS members gathered for an IFS Europe seminar as our host Nadezda Malysheva Chairperson of the Help To Youth and Family, welcomed us with an evening reception. During the course of the next three days participants learned about youth and family work in St. Petersburg. Learn more »
