Explore the power of place-based work around the world at the 2012 gathering of the International Federation of Settlements and Neighborhood Centers in Stockholm, Sweden. During the four intensive days from May 22 to 26, we will exchange ideas, research and best practices, and connect our work at home to each other and the larger world.
In addition we will celebrate 100 years of the settlement house movement in Sweden, as we learn proven methods and cutting edge strategies for the next 100 years. This conference will also be the next opportunity for the IFS YOUTH Program to gather and we hope that IFS members will endeavor to bring as many young people age 18 to 25 as possible. IFS Youth in attendance will be invited to join with the 600 Swedish youth at their Life is a Party conference on May 26th!
